In this episode, I talked about how much you really need to save or invest for retirement. Retirement planning for nurses is essential early on in our careers. There are a lot of factors that affect how much your retirement needs are going to be including your retirement age goal, expected expenses, lifestyle expectations and healthcare costs. While there are guidelines or benchmarks on how to calculate for retirement, at the end of the day each of us have different retirement goals. I talked about the 4% rule in this episode and freedom number and how much you need to invest if you want to retire early.
